SIKESTON – Karen Sue Clay, age 56, passed away on Sept. 4, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born June 10, 1966, in Sikeston, daughter of Carolyn Parker Schaffer and the late James C. Schaffer.

Karen was a drawing artist and worked as a waitress.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Schaffer; one son, Keifer Clay; one sister, Cherie Smith; and three grandchildren, Karalyn, Kashus, and Killion.

There are no services scheduled, Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
