Sikeston American Legion members peeled and sliced 400 pounds of onions for fish sandwiches in preparation for the annual Sikeston American Legion Cotton Carnival, which began Tuesday and ends Oct. 1. The Legion’s fish stand will be open during lunch and at the carnival. On Wednesday and Thursday, all rides are regular coupons only with wristbands $30 on Friday night and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. is regular coupons only.
