Colt Tripp
SIKESTON — Colt Randall Tripp, age 35, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at his home in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 28, 1987, at Festus, Missouri, to Debra Miller Neff, he grew up in the Fredericktown, Missouri, area and was a graduate of Fredericktown High School. He graduated the law enforcement program through Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, Missouri. He had lived the past several years in Sikeston where he worked as a public safety officer with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety and served with both the C.I.T and T.A.C.H teams.
On March 6, 2020, he married Micah Shiann McDonnold, who survives of the home.
Also surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are his daughter, Skylar Jade Tripp; his brother, Steve Saxion; and his grandparents, Douglas Welch and Charlene Welch.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather, David Neff.
The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.
Interment will follow in Oklahoma at a later date.
