The New Madrid Fall Festival took place Saturday and Sunday.
A local team took top honors in the Twisted Cat Outdoor fishing tournament Saturday in New Madrid. The team of Jimmy Burton, John Trout and Mike Mitchell caught three fish weighing a total of 143.79 pounds. There were 53 teams taking part in the fishing competition which was part of New Madrid's annual Fall Festival.Photo by Tom Stolze
