Geraldine Robinson

MARSTON, Mo. — Geraldine Spears Robinson, 91, died Oct. 15, 2022, at St. Louis.

Born June 30, 1931, in Portageville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Emma Lou Wilson Spears and John Baptist Spears.

On Aug. 1, 1948, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Chester Joseph Robinson. Three daughters were born from this union: Gwen, Donna, Lisa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Robinson; and daughter, Lisa Leonard.

Survivors include: two daughters, Gwen and Charles Swain of Sikeston, Missouri, and Donna McClarty of Lilbourn, Missouri; son-in-law, Dewey Leonard Jr. of St. Genevieve, Missouri; four grandchildren, Robin (Lloyd) Stoner of Sikeston, Shannon (Paul) Jimmerson of Jackson, Missouri, Joseph (Tricia) McClarty of New Madrid, Missouri, Amanda (Anthony) Grimes of Matthews, Missouri; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portagevile.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery

Pallbearers will be: Lloyd Stoner, Paul Jimmerson, Greg Johnson, James Robinson, Pat McClarty and Jeff McClarty.

Honorary Pallbearers: Patrick Riley, Tony Perkins, Johnny Raidt, James David Patton, Jay Patton, Grant Stoner and Gavin Stoner.
