A Red Flag Warning has again been issued for southeast Missouri.
The National Weather Service issued the warning which is in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday.
The NWS is predicting windy conditions with winds 13-17 miles per hour from the southwest.
The wind, paired with the extremely dry conditions, means that any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
County-wide burn bans are in effect for Scott County and New Madrid County.
