A Red Flag Warning has again been issued for southeast Missouri. The National Weather Service issued the warning which is in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday. The NWS is predicting windy conditions with winds 13-17 miles per hour from the southwest. The wind, paired with the extremely dry conditions, means that any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended...

County-wide burn bans are in effect for Scott County and New Madrid County.
