Evelyn Peacock
NEW MADRID, Mo. — Evelyn Peacock, 89, of New Madrid passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, surrounded by family.
She was born in Broseley, Missouri, to the late George and Anna (Breeden) Tippen.
On June 7, 1952, she was united in marriage to William Peacock, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2008.
They were blessed with three children: Sharon (George) Adams, Jan Boone and Ronnie (Lindy) Peacock; seven grandchildren, Anita Robinson, Lana (Todd) Luke, Amy Williams, Lisa (Mark) Earnheart, and Stephanie Peacock. She retired after 33 years from Parma School District as the head cook, while also serving the community.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15.
