Jimmy Thomas Sr.

SIKESTON — Jimmy Dale Thomas Sr., age 63, passed away Dec. 8, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center Sikeston. He was born Nov. 24, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jimmy was a longtime Maintenance Supervisor at Triangle Manufacturing in Sikeston. He then owned and operated JD's Machinery Movers in Sikeston. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Jimmy's grandchildren were his life.

He is survived by one son, Jimmy Dale Thomas Jr. (Danice) of Miner, Missouri; one daugther, Amanda Dawn Merryman of Sikeston; and four grandchildren, Sydney Jeanette Merryman, Brooklyn Dale Merryman, Liam Preston Thomas and Archer Levi Thomas who is on the way.

There will be a visitation held Friday, Dec. 16, 2022. from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Burial will follow the service at New Morley Cemetery.
