Missing Ziegenhorn

Scott County’s former first district commissioner, Dennis Ziegenhorn, should think about running again for county commissioner. We sure miss a common-sense approach he brought to the table, like roads, balancing budget, spending money and time wisely, getting things done, not worrying about who gets a dog or moving the sheriff. There are lots of other things to address. He would have to file as a Republican, but he always acted like one anyway. He needs to seriously think about it. He always helped me every time I called him.

Sign on Kingshighway is correct

After 15 votings [sic] Kevin McCarthy is finally speaker of the House.The Republicans have united as the party of hate, division, liars, deniers, no leadership and just plain stupidity. Maybe the sign at the Republican headquarters on South Kingshighway is correct; it reads “our country is in grave danger.” God help us.
