Lee Ann Rapert
CHARLESTON, Mo. — On Monday Jan. 23, 2023, Lee Ann Rapert, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at her home in Charleston at age 50.
Born March 31, 1972, to Bruce and Carol Anne Sisk Rapert of Sikeston, Missouri, Lee Ann was an animal lover who spent most of her time with her daughter and grandchildren. She had a larger-than-life, fun personality and left a lasting impression anywhere she went. If you knew Lee, she would greet you with a big smile, and a “What’s up, trash?” and that’s when you knew you were about to have a good time! She was well known for many silly phrases or quotes such as “Eeeeewww, Larry” or “Larry Leg” all in effort to draw a smile or laugh from those around her! To say she will be missed is an understatement.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse James “Buck” Sisk, Rebecca “Becky” Sisk of Bertrand, Missouri, Aaron and Jewel Rapert of Charleston.
Survived by her mother and father, Bruce and Carol Rapert of Sikeston; two daughters, Lacey Ann Harland of Blytheville Arkansas, and Caitlyn Cooper of Mountain View, Missouri; five granddaughters, Alexa Cole, Hadleigh Harland, and Madisyn Harland of Blytheville, Maci and Marilynn Cooper of Mountain View; two brothers, Glenn Rapert and Michelle Wilkerson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Justin Rapert of Sikeston; five nephews and three nieces, Trevor Rapert of Sikeston, Isaac Rapert, Glenn Rapert Jr., Benjamin Rapert of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tray Rapert, Tressa Appleton, Madeline and Lillian Rapert of Sikeston; she will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may assemble at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
