New fuel pumps installed at airport

Steven Brandt and Danny Brandt of Mid-State Petroleum Equipment Inc. work together to install the new gasoline tanks that arrived Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Sikeston Memorial Municipal Airport. According to the City of Sikeston, the operation of installing a new fueling station at the airport started in 2019; however, the project was delayed multiple times mainly due to COVID-19 and supply chain concerns. Work will continue to finish the installation of the fuel tanks in order to have the new filling station operating by the end of March.
