Two teens injured in ATV crash in Mississippi County

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Two teenagers were injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash Sunday, May 21 in Mississippi County.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 11:38 a.m. as the northbound ATV operated a by a 14-year-old male of New Madrid, Missouri, ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

The driver of the ATV sustained moderate injuries, and his 14-year-old male passenger of Dexter, Missouri, received serious injuries. They were transported by an ambulance to a local hospital.
