Ruth Simmons
SIKESTON — D. Ruth Simmons, 53, of Sikeston passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, surrounded by her family.
She was born Feb. 21, 1970, in Sikeston, to Dorothy Ellis Mhoon and the late Enoch Ruth Simmons.
She leaves to fondly cherish her memories: two children, Rehanna Jones and Kevin Vaughn; her parents, Dorothy Ellis (Roscoe) Mhoon; seven sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023, at The Free Church, 338 Matthews Ave., Sikeston. Visitation is at 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. with pastor Kyle A. Pernell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Driver Funeral Service of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements and services.
