Not-so-great teacher plan

Our anti-public school Republican Gov. (Mike) Parson has come up with a typical Republican plan to help solve the public school teacher shortage problem in Missouri. That is to get teachers who are retired to teach longer. Great plan from the state with one of the lowest teacher wages in the nation. It never occurs to a Republican to pay a good wage that might attract more teachers.

Can you imagine?

Can you imagine what the NATO meeting, which is ending up right now (July 16) would be if Trump was President? He tried to weaken NATO by calling it an antique organization that he thought the United States should consider leaving. He probably would say that “Putin denied he invaded Ukraine strongly, so I believe him.” He said he would end the war in one day if we re-elected him. But we both know what that means: he would give Ukraine to his buddy, Putin.

Taking too long

Here it is over 12-1/2 hours since we had a storm in Sikeston. We still have no internet. No landline phone service and no TV service. Why is it taking them so long to find their problem? Thank you.
