Local students graduate from Missouri State University

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. —Missouri State University awarded 2,953 degrees to students in spring 2023.The commencement ceremonies took place May 19 at Great Southern Bank Arena.

The following local students earned degrees:

Tyler Battles of Dexter graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Madison Dill of Sikeston graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Magna Cum Laude.

Amber Dixon of Charleston graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work, Cum Laude.

Hailie Edwards of Marston graduated with a Bachelor of Science, English.

Katie Hampton of Sikeston graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Criminology, Cum Laude

Alli Hay of Sikeston graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Sociology and Religious Studies, Magna Cum Laude.

Audrey Lutmer of Dexter graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Sociology and Psychology, Summa Cum Laude in the Honors College.

Nolan McElroy of Sikeston graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Biology, Cum Laude.

Tanner Rickman of Dexter graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Finance.

John Scherer of Scott City graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Agricultural Business.
