Trump supporters, please explain

What are the loyal Trump supporters hanging onto? Mexico didn’t pay for the wall. Trump used unapproved military funds to build 52 miles of a wall which was supposed to be 2,000 miles long. Trump enticed the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol which caused great damage and death. Trump is responsible for his own actions being charged with sexual misconduct with many women. Trump would have avoided the 40 charges if he would have returned the classified documents to the government when asked to rather than attempting to steal them at Mar-a-Lago. Trump would have avoided the 34 charges against him in New York had he been a reputable and honest business owner. Trump lost the 2020 election and used many illegal tactics and lies to overturn the results of the election. Trump created his own problems and deserves the current situation he is in. Why are the loyal Trump supporters still hanging on, and attempting to justify his behavior? It’s time to move on and let Trump solve his own problems, all of which he has created himself.

Tarp for rodeo?

Hello, Southeast Missouri. Guess what? It’s rodeo time. And guess what? It’s raining. We can only set the buckets out rodeo time. I have an idea, possibly. The baseball pros, when it rains, they put tarps down. Maybe it’s an idea for the Jaycees to look into, have it rolled out when they’re not using it and the grounds would be just fine and they just pull the tarp off and go from there. Then the cowboys will really like it better too because they can get better time. Just an idea. We’re proud to have the rodeo here for quite a few years now. Everybody be safe. Have fun. Take Care. Childish behavior

I have never heard a President, or past President, use such foolish and childish language and nick-names against his competition and non-supporters, like Donald Trump has. He has called people Marxists, Communists, crooked, thieves, stupid, liars, hoaxers, cowards, criminals, SOBs, cronies, radicals, fascists, clowns, MFs, DeSantimonious, meatballs, rinky-dinks, fraudsters and corrupt, just to name a few. To me, this is just not presidential behavior, and poorly represents the good people of the United States. I guess I could nickname him “the loser,” but I am above that.

Good Americans getting harder to find

President Biden, a quality gentleman and man of character, called Mitch McConnell after his freeze-up and stare on television to wish him well and express his concern. It’s interesting to note that Trump did not call. It’s interesting to see which group leads the poison and hate in this country. Concern for your fellow man used to be a quality good Americans had for each other, but good Americans are getting harder to find.

Agree with call on teacher shortage

I agree with Friday’s Speakout caller who blames our school teacher shortage problem on Gov. Parson and the Republican Party. Ever since Republicans have taken control of the state of Missouri, our education system has stagnated. Many teachers will either leave or state or get a job that provides better pay and more respect. People need to pledge their allegiance to our children and each other rather than a politician or a political party.
