SIKESTON — The members of the Red Peppers, the Sikeston High School pep club, hosted their annual Greenie Parade from the Sikeston High School to downtown Sikeston Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, to mark the end of the initiation week for the new members, known as Green Peppers. This year, according to Cayenne Baylee Copeland, there are 95 new members of the pep club. This year also marks the 95th anniversary of the organization.
