Quilt show winners

Winners of the Bootheel Quilters Guild’s quilt show, which was Aug. 12-13 at the Miner Convention Center, were recently announced. Winners won by the number of votes visitors made at the show. There were three categories and three winners in each category. Winners were: best of show: Carolyn Andrews; large quilt-king and queen: Cheryl Amos, first; Carolyn Andrews, second; Ruth Ann Dane, third; medium quilt-full and twin: Aleisha Collins, first and second; Carol Kirby, third place; and small quilts-baby and wallhangings: Corena Ressel, first; Marcy Abernathy, second; and Carolyn Sutton, third.
