KINGSLAND, Ga. — Ronald Henry Crader was born July 14, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Leon Crader and Adele Fray. He passed away peacefully on Aug. 15, 2023 at Lakes Crossing Assisted Living Center in Kingsland at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Preceding him in death was his father Leon Crader, his mother Adele Mall, his stepfather Herman Mall, his wife Josephine Crader, previous wives Darlene Hebrank and Barbara Barmeier, his son Ronald Crader, his stepson Carl Lowe and his stepdaughter Diana Lowe.

He was united in marriage to Josephine Ferguson Lowe in November 1977 in Marston, Missouri. He leaves to cherish his memories: sister Charlene Cooper and her husband Bill of El Cajon, California, daughter Connie Diven of St. Louis, daughter Michelle Williamson and her husband Jamie of Hillsboro, Missouri,  son Curt Crader and his wife Sue of St. Mary’s, Georgia, son Scott Crader of St. Louis, son Mark Crader and his wife Linnie of Evansville, Indiana, stepdaughter Sheryl Keene of Portageville, Missouri, stepson Thomas Lowe of Marston, stepson Michael Lowe and his wife Erma of Clarksville, Tennessee, and stepdaughter Tonya Carstairs of Rogers, AR as well as countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Ron enlisted in the USMC Reserves on July 27, 1956, and was honorably discharged on July 26, 1962.  While in the USMC Reserves in 1960, Ron became a member of IBEW Local One and completed his Electrical Apprenticeship on June 18, 1963.   He became a Master Mason of Paul Revere Lodge 330 in St. Louis on April 12, 1974. He also served as a Moolah Clown. In 1990, Ron retired for medical reasons. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

Graveside services will be on Sept. 11, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Mounds Park Cemetery with full military rites with DeLisle Funeral Home of Portageville in charge of arrangements. Charlie Thacker, minister, will officiate.
