Harper is crowned 2023 Miss Cotton Carnival

SIKESTON — Emma Harper, sophomore at East Prairie High School and daughter of Lance and Chassey Harper, was crowned the 2023 Miss Cotton Carnival Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, during the 79th Annual American Legion Cotton Carnival at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo grounds in Sikeston. First alternate was Averee Ackman, junior at Dexter High School and daughter of Amanda and Jonathan Guite. Second alternate was Kadison Adell, sophomore at Sikeston High School and daughter of Paul and Lori Adell.
