Steaks at stake

I spent eight years in the military and assumed most military people and their supporters understood what a fake anti-military supporter Trump and his Republican mob was. When I went to a meeting where my ex-military buddies were, I was surprised at how few facts they really knew about Trump — that he made fun of Gold Star families, told his boys that only suckers went into the military which neither he nor any of them did, made fun of John McCain because he got wounded and captured, didn’t want crippled veterans at any of his parades or any of events because they gave him a bad picture, refused to visit the veterans’ graves in Europe and that soldiers who were killed in the war was losers. They had a different view of him when I was through giving the facts and asking them to please check the facts, and if they found that I was in error in anything, I’d buy them a steak dinner. No steaks have been claimed to date.
