CHAFFEE, Mo. —Bobby Lee Corgan was born on Jan. 2, 1930, in Portageville, Missouri, to the late Kathleen Fielder Corgan and Homer Glenn Corgan. He passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at the Chaffee Nursing Center at the age of 93 years 9 months and 26 days.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. On Nov. 13, 1950, in Downey, California, he married the love of his life, Betty Lou Rhodes; she preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2022. To this union, four children were born. His family grew and lived in Portageville for many years. Mr. Bob was a bricklayer until his retirement. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and he had a great love for horses his entire life.

Also preceding him in death were his parents, Glenn Corgan and Kathleen Fielder Corgan; and one sister, Dawanda Daughetee.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his sons, Ron (Shari) of Plant City, Florida, and Roy Corgan of Sikeston, Missouri; daughters, Kathy (Rick) Blankenship of Jackson, Missouri, and Susie (Scott) Bilderback of Lowry City, Missouri; one brother, Jerry Corgan of Colorado; nine grandchildren, Shawn (Rebeka) Corgan, Cindy (Greg) Beason, Jessica (Lucas) Chitwood, Whitman (Laura) Bilderback, Shayne (Jandro) Suarez, Shaylyn (Robbie) Spath, Chad (Emily) Corgan, Kyle (Jane) Corgan and Candace Corgan, and10 great-grandchildren, Tristany Corgan, Avery Beason, Atticus Chitwood, Zephyr Chitwood, Delilah Chitwood, Juniper Corgan, Adrion Ruggieri, Ozias Suarez., Laurel Corgan, Tillie Kate Corgan; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville with the Rev. Mitch Jackson officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in the Portageville Cemetery.
