The Republicans fought to control our government. As soon as they got control, they proved they can’t competently control anything, let alone the United States government. Wake up, people, and stop watching crazy TV and electing incompetent Republicans and realize we are going to a disaster with these clowns trying to control this government.

Medicare is not total free handout

To the Speakout contributor on Oct. 21: The federal government does noes pay for housing, food and give illegal immigrants money. The federal government is not supporting the illegal immigrants coming across the border. No, Medicare does not pay for medicines like blood thinners. Drug insurance is offered through Medicare part D or with a Medicare supplement policy and everyone on Medicare has to pay for their own policy. If your grandmother is having trouble paying for her blood thinners, then maybe you should help her find a Medicare drug plan. Maybe you could even help her pay for a drug policy or even help her pay for her drugs. Medicare is not a total free handout by any means and never has been.
