Kyle Aubuchon named Sen. Jason Bean’s chief of staff

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — State Sen. Jason Bean, R-Holcomb, announced on Monday, Nov. 27 Kyle Aubuchon as his new chief of staff, effective Friday, Dec. 1.

“I cannot think of a better person to serve as the 25th’s Chief of Staff than Kyle Aubuchon. Kyle’s experience in the capital and in the 25th district will be a tremendous asset to the people of the district,” Bean said. “I look forward to working alongside Kyle, and will continue to work every day for the citizens of our great district.”

Aubuchon has deep connections and strong relationships to the 25th district. He previously served as field representative for Congressman Jason Smith and chief of staff for Sen. Doug Libl, and as Libla’s campaign manager for two successful elections. At the statewide level, Aubuchon has experience working as both a staffer and campaign worker, and was most recently serving as Boards and Commissions director and senior staffer for Gov. Mike Parson.

“After serving in the Governor’s Office and the highest levels of state government, I am excited to return to the Missouri Senate and focus on my home district,” Aubuchon said. “I look forward to working alongside Senator Bean and directly with my neighbors and communities in Southeast Missouri.”

Elected to the Missouri Senate in 2020, Bean currently serves as chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee and as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and the Senate Committee on Transportation, Infrastructure, and Public Safety.

He also serves in Senate leadership as the Assistant Majority Floor Leader.

The 25th District consists of Butler, Carter, Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Pemiscot, Ripley, Stoddard and Wayne counties.

Aubuchon, his wife Ashley, and their daughter live in Poplar Bluff. They are active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Aubuchon is a member of the Knights of Columbus and The MASTERS (Missouri Association of State Troopers Emergency Relief Society). He graduated in December 2010 from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in religious studies.
