Caleb Cockrell
MALDEN, Mo. — Caleb Edward Cockrell, age 30, of Malden, formerly of Vanduser, Missouri, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, near Essex, Missouri.
Caleb was born April 22, 1993, at Portsmouth, Virginia, to Dana Marie Boze Cockrell who survives and the late John Cockrell. He had lived in the Sikeston, Missouri, area a number of years and was a graduate of Scott County Central High School. He was employed with RLP Construction.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his son, Odin Edward Blaise Cockrell; his daughter, Rayven Leona Starr Holmes; the mother of his son, Celeste Paige Holmes; his brothers, Josh Cockrell, Ethan Cockrell and Chance Cockrell; his grandparents, Vivian Dial Boze Hasty, David Cockrell and Marie Cockrell; also, his best friend, William Buckley; and two close friends, Christian Montgomery and Dylan Revelle.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orval Boze.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
