Motorists should be considerate

I’m calling about a certain business close on North Main Street close to the Main and Malone intersection (in Sikeston). There are cars that are lined up on Main Street to turn so they can turn and go in the drive through of this business. That is blocking traffic, and I thought that was illegal. I don’t know why people aren’t more considerate instead of blocking traffic that they just either go inside or drive around until it is clear to get in there.

Senator complaints

This week, our senator, “chicken Hawley,” along with “no-work Senator Bailey” threatened to hold up the entire United States Defense Bill if the United States Senate didn’t pass their amendment to the bill to reimburse anyone who suffered injury from radioactive exposure. Of course, he had no idea how much it would cost the taxpayer, and, of course, he did not suggest how it would be paid for. He’s a typical Republican legislator. A St. Louis representative, Ann Wagner, who had done work on that type of bill previously, released information saying it would cost $110 billion in the first 10 years. Of course that didn’t bother Hawley. He wasn’t going to pay for it anyway. You were.

Presidential milestone

I heard on the radio today – Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023 — that Joe Biden has been awarded for the highest number of illegal immigrants to cross our border in one day. Recently 12,600 illegals crossed into our country. In his three years as president, over 7 million illegals have come into this country – people who hate the united states, terrorists, sick people. Joe Biden and his regime is the worst threat to our national sovereignty that this country has ever had.
