Lying will ultimately destroy U.S.

Boy, you sure can tell who only watches Fox or another propaganda outlet. Fox had to fire Tucker Carlson and several other of their headliners when they had to pay over $750 million for lying to their true believers. They admitted on the record that money – not facts – are what is important to them. And if they told the truth, their followers would just seek their alternate facts elsewhere. Trump has been indicted for over 90 different serious crimes in four different jurisdictions by grand juries made up of over 100 citizens in those states, sworn under oath to seek the truth after hearing facts. He has been found to have sexually assaulted a woman, and she was awarded millions of dollars a few months ago. He was recorded as how he used his position to sexually assault other women. Trump was told by his lawyers that he does not have the right to keep classified documents especially when ordered by subpoena to turn them over to a court. Of course, he then hid them. He will be tried on this in a court of law. Biden and the other presidential people who discovered they had inadvertently had classified documents in their papers when they left office when notified of this, immediately returned them to their rightful owners, thus, the United States citizens. As far as the hogwash about President Biden, over four years ago, Trump hired a Republican lawyer to try to prove what our letter writer has stated with facts. Biden even reappointed that lawyer when he became President to absolutely be sure to be fair to Trump. Even Fox News has publicly stated in the last few weeks that after millions of dollars of taxpayers’ expenditures, the Republican lawyers have not found a single fact to be true about what our letter writers’ false accusations against Biden are. I know it’s a waste of time, but please check the facts I have stated. You will see that the great danger facing this country, by lying, is what will ultimately destroy us. One of the great founders of our country said: “A country that chooses to be ignorant and free never has and never will be.”

Suggestion about fuel costs

This is for all the citizens in Sikeston and that includes myself. We need to quit buying gas at these stations for maybe three days to show them that we ain’t gonna be screwed where other places that are eight or nine miles away are selling gas between 25 and 40 cents cheaper. If we do that, these companies will say: “Wait a minute. What’s going on? We haven’t sold no gas. We usually sell 10,000 gallons in three days. What’s going on?” They will lower the prices. We all need to do that.
