NEW MADRID, Mo. — With his first year as New Madrid’s city administrator complete, Aaron Griffin described it as a of year of learning.
“I have definitely learned that operating a city is very complex,” he said. “There are so many things that go on behind the scenes to maintain a functioning community. Learning how all the different departments function together has been very interesting.”
He has high praise for those who work for the city and the Municipal Light and Power Department. He also noted both departments work well together.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here,” Griffin said. “I love living and working in this community.”
