Terry graduated from Charleston High School in 1981. He started a varied and wonderful trucking career beginning with hauling livestock for his dad, Joe. Later in his career he hauled fuel, ag products, chemicals, general freight and anything else you could load and haul. Before forming Morgan Trucking Company LLC in 2017, he drove for Wal-Mart's private fleet, for Casey's fuel hauling division and other companies. He had lived in Omaha, Nebraska, for nine years before returning to Sikeston in 2004. He took his wife, Mary, on many trips to different states in his pride and joy, “Violet,” the Peterbilt semi he proudly drove. In 2023 he gave up the steering wheel to manage his trucks.
