All-Division Band members from Portageville High School

On Feb. 3, five Portageville students competed with more than 100 students from East Prairie to South Pemiscot for spots in the All-Division Band at the Kennett Middle School. The tryout involved prepared musical excerpts, scales and sight reading. All five of the Portagefille students were chosen for the band. They are Kaydin Jones (Middle School drums), Brady Stone (High School trombone), Dustin Nolen (High School baritone), Ema Whittemore (High School clarinet) and Alyssa Pullam (High School clarinet).
