Deborah Thompson

SIKESTON — Deborah Melissa “Debbie” Thompson, age 69, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Thomas E. and Martha Hart Thompson.

Deborah was an administrative assistant for U.S. West Marine Products and was a member of the Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Sikeston.

She is survived by one sister, Linda Metts of Germantown, Tennessee; two nieces, Kristin Meeks of Benton, Missouri, and Emily Mueller of Bertrand, Missouri; two nephews, Bart Metts of Germantown and Brian Metts of Collierville, Tennessee; two aunts, Peggy DeHart of Sikeston and Mary Etta White of Cabot, Arkansas; two uncles, Bob and Paul Hart of Carlisle, Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Thompson and Thomas Thompson; and one nephew, Daniel Thompson.

A visitation will be held at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at noon with William Marshall, pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Sikeston, officiating.

An inurnment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
