Mail delivery getting worse

Is the mail service getting even worse? Last month from Sikeston my mail took 11 days to Kansas City, Missouri, 12 days to Ohio, and 14 days to Dallas. I’m worried the delays will cause late charges on my bills. It used to take about four to five days to get anywhere in the U.S. I know this is election year and Trump wants your mail delayed because he thinks voting by mail is rigged. Is the postal service slowing down again?
