Deputies, along with Dexter Police officer Dylan Williams and Missouri State Highway Patrol, located Taylor near Harps Grocery store in Dexter. Taylor also had a passenger in the vehicle who was later identified as Lambert.

Deputies contacted the subjects in the parking lot which later revealed the subjects to be in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia and approximately 34 capsules, which contained suspected fentanyl, Hefner said.

The white powdery substance contained in the capsules were field-tested utilizing the TruNarc and produced positive results for the presence of fentanyl, a schedule II controlled substance.

Taylor and Lambert were both arrested and transported to the Stoddard County Jail where they are currently housed without bond.
