Youngsters find some goodies as they visit the South Scott County EMS booth during Ms. Rita J. Savage’s annual Last Day of School Giveaway Friday, May 17 at her home in the 200 block of Alabama Street in Sikeston. Rain earlier in the day couldn’t stop the event as local children and their parents enjoyed fun, food and giveaways as they celebrated the end of the school year.
