Beverly Cruz
SIKESTON — Beverly Ann Cruz, age 62, passed away on May 31, 2024, at her home in Sikeston.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1961, in Inverness, Florida, to the late Joseph “Bill” William Moody and Betty Moritz.
On June 11, 1998, in Wickliffe, Kentucky, she married Luis Cruz who survives of the home in Sikeston.
She was store manager for Larry’s Pit Stop in Miner, Missouri, for 22 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by, two sons, James Pate of Park Hills, Missouri, and Michael Wilson of Portageville, Missouri; four daughters, Kimberly (Solomon) Bautista, Gena Lemus, Michelle (Leo) Martinez-Mendez and Brittany Moody all of Sikeston; four sisters, Kathy Coplin and Gail Cox of Sikeston, Tammy (Steve) Streisel of Alaska and Kimberly Wheeler of Minnesota; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two on the way.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Glen Golden officiating.
Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Fredericktown, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Donovan Ramirez, Cameron Garcia, Caden Hughes, Micheal Wilson, Brandon Bautista and Salomon Bautista.
