Danny Staggs throws tree debris into the pile Friday, June 7 at the Sikeston Yard Waste Disposal Site, or the city’s compost site, on Compress Road in Sikeston. This week the site was open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and will be open this weekend. According to officials, the city intends to pick up tree limbs from the curbside eventually, but it may take some time before they can reach everyone’s curbside.
