SMITH VISITS SOUTHEAST MISSOURI

U.S. Rep. Jason Smith visited Sowinski Farms which grows potatoes Tuesday, July 2 in Bertrand, Missouri. During his stop, Smith learned about farming potatoes which are used to make Lays potato chips. The visit was an opportunity to highlight the diversity of agriculture in Southeast Missouri, which plays a vital role in feeding and fueling the world, according to Smith. Also on Tuesday, Smith made stops in Bloomfield, Missouri; Harviell, Missouri; and Van Buren, Missouri.
