Thank you for the BBQ
After reading today’s Standard Democrat — Wednesday, July 24 — I know the group to thank, the Dad’s BBQ group. On Friday, it was such a wonderful surprise to have the smoked leg quarters. They were so good, and it was so welcomed because I had everything fixed to eat, but I did not have any meat, and not only that, it was so delicious. So, many thanks to this wonderful group and also to Food Giant who supplied the chicken. It was so appreciated. Thank you, Sikeston Dads BBQ.
He was a doctor
Yes, I’m calling about Gordon Jones. He is a doctor at Sikeston and I think that should have been in his obituary that he was a doctor. So thank you. I’d like for you to print that. Thank you very much.
His obituary did say that he was a doctor. The Standard Democrat does not typically put courtesy titles in the headings of the obituaries it runs.
Stop the hate and lies
I know of no one who really supports abortion. I know of no one who has been forced to have an abortion without their consent. Unfortunately, I know of very few families, neighbors and friends that have not been faced with the terrible choice because of age, unable to support, maintaining a household, keeping a job, maintaining education, etc. Most of these people are Christian-raised people who support the readings of the Bible but still face the major decision. Many of the pro-life supporters will be faced with these same unfortunate decisions. The pro-life supporters should stop the hate they are trying to create between families, friends and neighbors. No one is taking away the pro-life’s right or anyone else’s right to not have an abortion. It is fine to have an opinion, but stop the hate and lies.
Caller says incident is true
Sangre De Cristo, Arizona June 11, 2011, another coverup….Southern Arizona is full of bio labs; southern Utah home of biological weapons facility. Nothing in the major corporate media about this. On the night of June 2, 2011, the largest mass murder in American history occurred in the off-the-grid border town of Sangre de Cristo, Arizona, just a few miles north of Mexico. The entire population of 57 disappears overnight, and the next morning nothing is left but blood trails into the desert. … The police arrest the lone survivor: an illegal immigrant, Francisco Salazar, who is found covered with the blood of a number of his fellow residents. Despite a lack of convincing forensic evidence, Salazar is charged with all the murders, against the backdrop of racial hysteria and paranoia that permeates the US/Mexico border.During the trial, a compelling new piece of evidence emerges: something terrible and remorseless passed through the town that night, and Salazar was the only one who recorded it. On one roll of film – 36 photographs – is the record of a gruesome wave of horror, and quite possibly, a haunting glimpse of more bloodshed to come. This under the Obama and Biden administration the authorities claim photoshop but an expert photographer says they show no signs and the photos are valid. After they tried and executed him, more mass murder happened on a smaller scale all the way to Southern Utah then stoped. They say vandals dug up his grave or was it someone who was curious he was still alive? This is a true incident.
