BERTRAND, Mo. — Tammy Diane Hall Taylor, age 66, entered into rest on Friday, Aug, 2, 2024, at her home in Bertrand surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She was born Oct. 23, 1957, to Francis Marion (Jim) Hall and Shirley Diane Poyner Hall in Brawley, California, where she lived prior to moving to Charleston, Missouri.

On Nov. 8, 1975, she married Don Ray Taylor of East Prairie, Missouri, and relocated to Bertrand, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Don survives of the home.

She is survived by one son, Timothy Don (Terri) Taylor of Bertrand; and three grandchildren, Corbin, Meeka and Dax Taylor, who she cherished and loved spending time with.

In addition, Tammy is survived by a very special stepmother, Lisa Hall of Charleston; four brothers, James (Brenda) Hall of Sikeston, Missouri, Greg (Lisa) Hall of Charleston, John (Sandy) Hall of Bertrand and Jeff (Johnna) Hall of Charleston; two sisters Shelly Hall (Jeff) Parton of Haines City, Florida, and Dede Hall (Ralph) Bell of Charleston; three half sisters Deanna (Stan) Triplett of East Prairie, Tami Hall (Wes) Harvell of East Prairie, and Debra (Skylar) Hall of Sikeston.

Tammy was of Baptist faith, attended Charleston High School and was part-owner/operator of the family trucking business and devoted her life to caring for her parents, husband, son and grandchildren.

As per Tammy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services and burial will be private.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
