**UPDATE: Advisory has been canceled** Endangered Silver Advisory issued

**The missing adult has returned home and is safe.**

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The Cape Girardeau Sheriff’s Office has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred early Monday, Aug. 5 in Cape Girardeau.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the missing adult was last seen leaving his home at 9 a.m. in Cape Girardeau. He has been diagnosed with dementia.

Anyone seeing the missing person, a suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office at 573-243-3511.
