Hundreds turned out Tuesday, July 12, 2022, for the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house of Sikeston R-6 School District’s new Lee Hunter Elementary located at 315 Baker Lane in Sikeston. Current and former district students, teachers, administrators, board members and community members were present for the occasion.
