NMCC Powder Puff game

As a fundraiser for Eagle Christmas, New Madrid County Central High School hosted a powderpuff football game on Nov. 10. The senior class, wearing the pink jerseys, outscored the juniors in the first match up but would lose to the freshmen in the final game and placed second overall.

They may have been opponents but they are also friends. A member of the senior powderpuff football team goes to help one of the junior players who was injured during play. The freshmen team took top honors during the evening with second place won by the seniors, the sophomores placing third and the juniors coming in last.

As their coaches look on, the members of the senior class powderpuff football squad run a play. The powderpuff games were a fundraiser for the New Madrid County Central High School's Eagle Christmas, which provides presents and food for families in need.

It was a fake that fooled no one when one of the coaches for the Junior Powderpuff Football squad put on a wig and attempted to run the ball. The juniors would lost both their matchups on Nov. 10.

In the Nov. 10 Powderpuff Football game at New Madrid County Central, the sophomore class's team took on the freshmen class's team in the opening game. The freshmen would go on to win first place that evening.
