Rain held off for residents to enjoy the annual Sikeston American Legion Cotton Carnival which began at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, on Pine Street, then traveled north to Malone Avenue, west to Scott Street and then dispersed in vacant parking lots west of Scott Street. This year’s theme is “Eight Decades of Success.”
