Approximately 50 businesses, organizations and school groups provided a trick or treat event for students from Lilbourn, Matthews and New Madrid elementary schools and Immaculate Conception Grade School on Oct. 31 at New Madrid.

The adults had as much fun dressing up as the youngsters during the annual Trunk or Treat at New Madrid Elementary. There were plenty of beauties and one beast representing Tri-County Community Planning at the annual event.

The New Madrid Elementary School gymnaisium was filled with youngsters traveling from table to table to gather Halloween treats during the annual Trunk or Treat. Students from New Madrid, Matthews and Lilbourn Elementary Schools along with Immaculate Conception Grade School attended the event.

The Trunk or Treat at New Madrid Elementary on Oct. 31 drew all kinds of witches, including Rylie Summers and Lotus Robertson, who held off casting spells and gathered up sweet treats instead.
