Boyd bows out of state rep race

SIKESTON -- Although he's expressed an interest in running for state representative of the 160th District, Sikeston native Neal E. Boyd announced Thursday he no longer plans to file.

He and Holly Rehder, who has filed for the seat, were the featured speakers at Thursday's monthly Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Each was given a set amount of time to speak, then the floor was opened for questions from Chamber members.
