Getting down to business

Dr. Kenneth Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University, stopped in Sikeston Tuesday afternoon to officially open the Business Service Center at the University's Sikeston campus. The Center will provide one-on-one counseling and technical assistance for current small business owners. In addition, the Center will provide Operation Jump-Start entrepreneurship training for aspiring entrepreneurs. The center will be open one-day a week at the Sikeston campus and by appointment. Speaking with Dobbins after the announcement are County Commissioner Dennis Ziegenhorn, left, and Sikeston City Councilman Mike Conway, center.
