BENTON, Mo. -- Additional charges were filed against a Kewanee man accused of sexual abuse with children in Scott County.

Anthony L. Kiser, 41, is charged with one count of felony second degree statutory sodomy occurring on or about Nov. 30, 2015, and two counts of fourth-degree child molestation with a child less than 17 years old and the offender is greater than four years older occurring on or about May 20.

Kiser was charged earlier this month with first-degree child molestation and felony sexual misconduct or attempt involving a child under 15 occurring in 2011 and 2012, online court records said.

According to the probable cause affidavit by Jessica Martin, a detective with the Scott County Sheriff's Office, on May 24 she was assigned to investigate a child abuse and neglect hotline referral of sexual abuse. An investigation led to an interview with Kiser, who denied all of the allegations and invoked his rights before the interview ended.

Kiser was placed under arrest June 2 on a 24-hour hold, pending the issuance of a warrant. Bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety, and he bonded out of the Scott County Jail. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim(s) or minors.

Bond for the new charges filed this week is set at $75,000 cash or surety. As of Thursday afternoon, he remained in custody in the Scott County Jail.
