MINER, Mo. — Registered voters in Miner will go to a new precinct to cast their votes during the April 4 municipal election.

“In order to better accommodate the poll workers and voters of the Miner Precinct, the decision has been made to move the polling location from the Miner Police Department to the Miner Baptist Church,” Scott County Clerk Allen Seabaugh said.

This decision was solely made in an effort to provide better parking for the voters and workspace for the poll workers, he said.

“We appreciate the City of Miner and Police Department for accommodating the voting process at their facility for many years. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the County Clerk’s Office,” Seabaugh said.

Seabaugh sent a letter to Miner city officials. Miner voters will also receive a notice regarding the precinct voting location change.
