SIKESTON -- Police are investigating a New Year's Eve robbery at a Sikeston truck stop.
At about 4 p.m. Saturday an officer responded to Love's Truck Stop, 1401 S. Main St., in reference to an armed robbery, according to Sikeston Department of Public Safety reports.
As an employee carrying the bank deposit bag was leaving the business, a male reportedly approached the employee, and reached under his shirt which caused the victim to believe that he had a firearm. The man took the bank deposit bag and fled.
