NEW MADRID, Mo. — SEMO Health Network is the recipient of the Gold Health Center Quality Leader designation by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
The award is part of HRSA’s Community Health Quality Recognition program, which highlights health centers that have achieved outstanding performance in areas such as access, quality, health equity and health information technology for the 2023 Uniform Data System reporting period.
“We are incredibly proud to receive the Gold Health Center Quality Leader award,” said Rebecca Carden, clinical performance director at SEMO Health Network. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire team, as well as the trust our patients place in us every day. We remain dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.”
The Gold Health Center Quality Leader award is reserved for health centers that demonstrate the best overall clinical quality measure performance, based on the average 2023 adjusted quartile rankings. Officials with SEMO Health Network said they are proud to be among the top 10.6 percent of Federally Qualified Health Centers nationwide to earn this distinction.
“Moreover, SEMO Health Network is one of only two FQHCs in Missouri to receive gold status, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to our communities,” SEMO Health officials said in a new release.
SEMO Health Network expressed its gratitude to HRSA for this recognition and to their patients and community partners for their ongoing support.
